Haditha Update: Shot But Not Executed

The Article 32 investigation of LCpl Sharratt continues. LCpl Sharratt is accused of murdering three men in Haditha. The prosecution has insisted that the Marines shot the men at Haditha “execution style.” LCpl Sharratt maintains the he entered the room and fired on the men, after he observed one of them holding an AK-47. The pathologist testified that the bullet wounds in the bodies appeared to come from shots fired closer then two feet away, supporting the testimony of LCpl Sharratt.

The AK-47s recovered from the scene were not introduced into evidence, because NCIS lost them.
